I’m trying to install the datasmith exporter for 3Ds Max 2022, but getting this error message:
“The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.”
It asks me to set the path manually, but won’t recognise the installation package.
The file is saved on a local harddrive.
Should mention that the installation file is named:
UnrealDatasmithMaxExporter_4_27_2.msi
While the installer is asking for:
UnrealDatasmithMaxExporter_4_27_preview2.msi

For anyone experiencing the same issue, I just needed to search for “datasmith” in the registry editor and delete the entry.
