So can someone help me with the best methodology of how to use the direct link?
This is what I have done:
- I created a basic scene in Max, and used the direct link to send it over to Unreal.
- I played around with the scene in Unreal - editing the lights and applying materials.
So far so good.
Now, 2 days later, I want to open my Max file, add some objects & make some edits.
- I open Unreal.
- I open Max.
- I sync using direct link.
- It’s asking me where I want to save the data,
- I now have an almost duplicate scene loaded into Unreal.
How do I make it so that the Direct Link is picking up from where it was? So that it updates objects and not replaces them?
