This happens on a couple of c4d files and I can’t tell what is causing it:
LogDatasmithC4DImport: Error: DOCUMENT_FPS not found LogDatasmithImport: Warning: Datasmith import error: Scene translation failure. Abort import.
Using R23, but tested also with R21. Anyone got some ideas?
I had the same problem and it has to do with the folder from where you try to import the file. If the root has some special characters like é è à etc, it won’t work
In my case I had " é ", i just moved the scene file to another place and it worked
