Datasmith actors, specifically empty objects used as pivot points, generate mapping errors in level sequencer when you attempt to save it.
Import any datasmith hierarchy
Save the level
3. Use Save As to save the level in a new name
Load new level with datasmith actors in it
Create a level sequence
Add a transform track to any empty datasmith actor (pivots)
Attempt to save the level sequence
I believe step 3 here is what triggers the bug.
I attempted to submit this problem via the bug submissions form, but neither Chrome nor Edge showed me the “captcha” today.

Oh, it’s not all empty datasmith actors that produce this error. Great.
Managed to capture this output log before I saved over the problematic files.

Hi, roberteker
I’m trying to reproduce your issue, but step 4 is vague to me.
Are you loading a new umap or importing a new Datasmith file (adding to the current level)?
What type of actor are you creating a track for? the DatasmithSceneActor, a StatiMeshActor or an empty Actor?
I’ve confirmed this behavior (on the Unreal Studio support site) and have escalated it. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
