Data table editor stopped working

The data table editor no longer displays anything, even for new tables with trivial structs (see the attached screen shot). No rows, no UI, just an empty window. I was on 4.21.2 when this started happening. I tried upgrading to 4.22.0, but that didn’t fix the problem. I can export the contents of the data table as CSV or JSON and see that the contents are there, but the editor shows nothing.

Has anyone encountered this? If so, was there a fix that worked for you?

open the data table and click on window in the top taskbar and check the “Data Table” Option
