Hey, so I went to make a data table today and notice that the row inputs are missing in the editor.
I went back to an old project in 2.23 (last time I used them) and its all there as its it should be, that is, the add and remove buttons name field and row up down movement.
I looked around on line for some tick box I may have missed but did not find anything relevant.
any help on this would be great.
The Row Editor tab can be closed and then added like so:
If in doubt, do send a screenshot of what you see.
Yes, it was updated 2 or 3 versions ago.
you have the same issue
Folks had an issue with the way it was before, hence the update
but its just a pain hitting F2 on the
new rows to rename
They can be double clicked, too. So you add a bunch and double click them, since you need to select them anyway.
There seems to be no data in the table shown, so there’s nothing to edit:
So what happens if you Add
a new data row?
you have the same issue, it must have been changed, This is what the row editor used to look like
you can see the add tools and name filed, its not a huge deal, but its just a pain hitting F2 on the new rows to rename them all the time if this is the way it is now just have to deal with it.
Ok, thankyou for you help! appreciate it
Hello, I’m having the same problem, but the row editor does not appear in the window menu as it can be seen in the first image. But in other data tables created before, the row editor does appear as an option in the window dropdown instead of the properties one (second image). Does anybody know how to create a row without the row editor or open the row editor from another place? I’m in unreal engine 5.2.1
nevermind, without noticing it, I was using a composite data table instead of a normal one
