Dark surfaces on model imported from blender

I exported a model from blender as an fbx. (it’s also animated) The normal direction looks fine in blender, but when i import it the top of the wings look like they should, but the rest of the model is black. I’ve tried to recalculate the outside and inside of the whole model in blender, and just the parts that are black, all that it does is make the model transparent. And sometimes the top of the wings get an almost emissive look. i’ve also tried inverting the normal when i import the model to unreal engine. Nothing works.
I’ve scoured the internet after answers but i’m finding nothing. I would really appreciate some help if anyone has time.
