Low poly game ready realistic model of late 17th-early 18th century French drgaoon cap. Used by Colonel Général, Mestre de Camp Général, Languedoc, Villegagnon dragoon regiments during Nine Years' War and War of Spanish Succession.
This cap was typical of the peasant clothing of the day, a type of „sleeping cap“ edged with fur. Rapidly accepted as the „dragoon headgear“ it became enlarged, formalized and, a special mark of distinction, was also adopted by the officers.
