Dancing Beans - Non Lethal Weapons

Six non lethal weapon attacks or abbilitys that doesn´t inflict damage. They can be used against enemys or with objects to resolve environmental puzzles as for example shrinking, enlarging or levitating plattforms, freezen traps, moving obstacles...

With this asset pack you will be able to implement following attack/ability types on your own game:

  • Shrink

  • Enlarge

  • Telekinesis

  • Levitate

  • Freeze

  • and Mutate

Two attack attack types can be equipped simultaneously, ready to be fired with left and right mouse keys or with right trigger and right shoulder on the controller.

They can be also combined, for example you can freeze and enemy and after that grab and throw him with the telekinesis ability or mutate, enlarge and than levitate an object or whatever that comes to your mind to create successful or funny combinations for your gameplay.

It includes:

  • The blueprint classes and logic to implement these abilitys

  • Outline logic and material to highlight the enemys and object that can be affected with the equiped weapon.

  • Three different ways to change the weapon type:

    • Menu UI to change the Weapon Type manually

    • “BP_Weapon_Changer” Trigger to change it automatically to the defined weapon type by reaching a point on the level. In the example looks like a big translucid red wall

    • Or picking another rifle

  • Basic AI for enemys to allow them to patrol, run to the player, run away, attack and react to some effects of the projectiles.

  • It also has some VFX and SFX for projectiles and impacts. Intended to serve als placeholders and be modified later to fit your own needs.

Supports controller and keyboard/mouse input.
