I’m looking to make functionality where a player is eliminated when colliding with a prop/static mesh. The current functionality in UEFN allows for damage on collision when using a prop mover, but I’m looking to have static objects damage the player when coming into contact. This is for a dropper type game where the player drops from a height and needs to avoid obstacles. My other thought was somehow utilizing fall damage. I would like to have the player use low gravity, but if I could somehow have fall damage set to trigger on basically any velocity, that could also be a solution. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
@Rohji Thank you for your report! We would like to look into this further, would you be able to submit a bug report using the form available here? Fortnite Creative
Hey there! You can try using some Damage Volume devices to get this working.
Hi, damage volume devices don’t work when parented to animated skeletal mesh bones, despite working perfectly fine when they’re animated on their own or parented under a static mesh.
Do you know of a way to get it to work?
