Hello,
I’ve been having the D3D Hung Error for about 2 weeks now, and I’ve been regularly trying to problem solve it specifically and only for Ark: Survival Evolved. Unfortunately, Wildcard doesn’t have any support and the support that I did access did very little to actually helping me. (AMD Radeon Support, ticket is still pending.) I have 1500 hours on the game, and I can no longer play it due to this D3D error. So far I have tried:
-
TDR Delay changes: From 2 seconds to 10 second default
-
New Launch Commands: -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 -nomansky -lowmemory -novsync -high -norhithread
-
All Settings turned off or on the bare minimum
-
Uninstall, reinstall
-
Updating drivers multiple times
-
Regressing drivers to previous versions multiple times
-
MSI Afterburner
-
Factory uninstall Drivers in safe mode, factory install drivers in safe mode
-
This issue has persisted for years and years, what lead me here: Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG') - Pipeline & Plugins - Epic Developer Community Forums
This was two years ago, and the issue still persists. Has this issue been resolved as of recently? I cannot fathom a way to help myself with this issue anymore. My GPU: R9-200
