D3D crash with sample project too. Line trace instant crash

Hi, in the last few weeks the engine start crashing with GPU error.
5.3 and 5.4 too.
Tested with sample project too, still crashing after time.

If i using line trace, instant crash. Even when using from Begin play → “set timer by event” (time=0.1)

Reinstalled the full pc. New Win11 (with all update, VS 2022 (what the documentation say), latest Nvidia (studio this time) driver.

PC: 32GB ram, Win11 and UE5 on SSD, RTX 4070 GPU, i511400 CPU.

Tried:

  • the regedit solution with tdr delays.
  • Switch DX 11/12
  • On/Off Ray Tracing, shading, etc…

Started the engine with -gpucrashdebugging, there is the log:

UTM_Test.log (305.8 KB)

Please help me, can’t use the engine yet.

Hi, thanks tried these too. Not helped.

Meanwhile replaced the RTX4070 with my old GTX1050 Ti. Thats DX11 card but wokrs fine, not crash any project when using line trace.

Maybe the vga the problem?
