Customize Colliders

Hi

I’m working on University car game project…I’m using Unreal Engine for the very first time, I have been using Unity for past 2 years now…so please go haywire on me and this may seem a noob question to many of you but unlike in Unity where you import a mesh you have to set up the colliders yourself…But in Unreal, the engine sets up the collider itself on a mesh, which is a great feature but at times it put colliders where you don’t need it…so is there any possibility to set up colliders yourself…I heard there a way before saving an asset as a FBX file in Maya…but couldn’t figure it out myself…

yes, it is quite easy, they must follow a fixed naming schema: FBX Static Mesh Pipeline | Unreal Engine Documentation

@Superbadsal if it answers your question, please mark it as solved/correct

How do I do that?

Left of the answer ist Arrow Up, down and Checkmark. With the Checkmark you Mark it as solved. Thanks
