Custom tonemapper banding / contouring artefacts in play mode

Hi,

We are experiencing quite serious banding / contouring artefacts using a custom tonemapper but only in play mode. I was wondering if somebody had an explanation for the discrepancy between the editor view and play mode (visible in the right part of the ramp in the attached screenshots).

We noticed that when setting “Settings —> Engine Scalability Settings —> Quality —> Effects” to “Low” the Editor now matches the Play mode. How can we ensure that the Play mode honor the scalability settings?
