So i made a 3D model with its own bones and a rig that best fitted on the model. Is there any way i can create some animation (Maya) and import it within UE4? Or does it need to have a specific bone hierarchy, UE4 rig??
As far as I know, the only requirement is that you have a single root bone and all other bones are children of that root bone. If you export the file as an FBX UE4 should be able to import it with animations included.
