Hello everyone, I have been battling with an issue for a long time now, when it comes to creating some advanced effects inside and outside of the layered material system.
for example in the image above, I have been forced to use an unused grey-scale channel, to output the material heights to generate normals. I would prefer a custom material greyscale output that isn’t actually a material effect (it is only to pass a mask between layers)
Does anything exist like this?
