Custom "Hood" mesh on Metahuman face rig?

Hey there,

I"m attempting to get this hood working on a metahuman face rig. I’ve got it rigged up in Blender to the exported Face Rig bones. I brought it back into UE5. Added a skeletal mesh on import(face one). Then in the metahuman BP I added it to the face and a “head bone” socket. However it does not deform to when moving it with the control rig.

I’ve got custom clothing work fine on the rest of the meta human. For a second, it seemed like it was working for the hood as well, but I must have broken something.

Basically how do I got about adding a custom model on top of my metahuman face rig with skinning?
