Hi Everyone,
So I like to think I’ve become savy enough with DMX in Unreal and can pretty much do everything I have wanted to do with Unreal Engine so far however, I have come to a bit of a snag with my plans to implement Unreal Engine in my workflow.
Custom DMX fixtures… now I know I could get Carbon for Unreal and my problem will be solved but $2000 a year subscription for models is an absolute rip off when I know I will probably use a maximum of 10 fixtures which can be relatively easily made or models downloaded from online sources such a GDTF or Sketch Up library etc.
In putting the models into unreal what I have done to make it easier is to copy and use the moving head blueprints which come with unreal. I am able to import the components into Unreal (Base, Yoke, Head ) into the blue print but I have the issue with the tilt.
I have searched online and have not been able to get a proper answer. How do you adjust the tilt axis inside the blueprint so that it aligns with the tilting occurs on the moving head? I know how to do outside the blueprint with Alt+middle mouse button but I am struggling to do it inside the blueprint and I dont want to waste anymore hours on this.
Thanks for your help
