Why doesn’t this work? what am I missing?

I don’t know a lot about animating but I’m 99.9% sure what you are trying to do is not going to work without at least retargeting one of the skeletons.

What I’m trying to do is use the Bigfoot AI with a different skeletal mesh and its animation BP (not bigfoots animation_BP)

Well, that’s relatively easy, but what I wouldn’t be sure about is the fact that Gigantopithecus auto-gathers on wander, and I’m not sure if the AI/Blackboard Tree specifically mentions any of the Animations or actions regarding this.

well, if it’s relatively easy, Id love to hear a walk thru if you have the time. I’ve been trying this for three days now. what you see in the video is the best I’ve gotten so far.

The “BaseHumanAnimationBP” has a lot of Blueprints that may be causing an issue. Try using the “TVP_Female_Fists_AnimBP” or the no weapon one out. I did a quick test and she at least animates but seems to be stuck in the floor right now. If I have more time after work Ill try some more testing. Good Luck!
