So i was wondering about the possibility of a mod for both currency and therefore an economy within ark, I have not modded ark before nor am i certain i can but i am going to try, I have thought about it a little but am unsure how to proceed, my idea is simply this, a workshop filled with reactions which when used will give you coins dependant on the material you put in, E.G, 2 stone for one coin with the amount going up or down depending on the rarity or weight of the item
Then there can be a second workshop where the opposite of these reactions hold true but with a slight drop in the exchange rate to stop people using it as a bank (one stone per coin) so these trading posts or whatever will only be able to convert raw resources so to gain better things like saddles you would have to trade with other players and the coins would ease this process
so what do you guys think and more importantly is it possible?
