I submitted a pull request to the Unreal Engine GitHub repository related to animation reimport scope.
However, the pull request was closed by UnrealBot with the following message:
“The required Generative AI text is missing from this Pull Request Text. This Pull Request will not be considered by Epic Games unless that is present and checked as conformation.”
I’m not sure what exactly is missing or what the issue is. Could someone clarify this for me?
For reference, here is the link to the pull request:

I have the same issue, all my pull requests were closed with the same vague message. Looking through the pull requests on GitHub at least 100 other pull requests were affected, too.
At the same time I couldn’t find any information regarding this mentioned AI text, neither on GitHub nor in the official documentation.
It seems that Epic wants to combat AI generated code in their code (good) but launched a bot prematurely before communicating the rules that this bot would check.
On top of this it’s not even consistent, there are over a thousand other pull requests that are still open, and as far as I could see none of them have any AI disclaimer. Not sure how the requests to close were picked
