Cuda memory leak error report in RC - then graphics card was gone

I’m using Nvidia geforce gtx 770.

When I textured a 33 mio tris model, and I cancelled the texturing process clicking “Abort”, RC showed a message “CUDA memory leaked detected”.

Shortly afterwards, I was logged out (“user logout”, not restart) without any further prompt or message by Windows.

My second screen was then black, and the graphics card driver were gone, it was back to “Microsoft Generic Graphics Card driver”.

Could this be a problem caused by RC?

hi Alice, please make sure you have the latest drivers installed

Hi Alice, RC uses the GPU just like any other GPU dependent software ( games etc. ). I do not assume that the problem is caused by RC. I would recommend to run GPU benchmarks or a diagnostic SW. Maybe the problem is in HW itself …

I have the drivers on auto-update.
