Cube Grid and Stair Tool. Where did they go?

Did something happen to the Cube Grid and Stair tools in the Modeling workspace? I was enjoying using then in the UE5EA and now in 5.0.3 they seem to have disappeared. Have they been moved? Renamed? Cut?

Thanks, I know where they used to be but they are not there anymore.
This is what I get when I enter Model Editing Mode (Shift 7) in 5.0.3
Is there some other panel?

Very weird, it looks like the plugin is out of date.

Did you install from the launcher? I’d have a go at verifying the installation

Hmmm… shift 5 is modelling mode. Do you definitely have 5.0.3?

Yeah, that’s why I’m scratching my head. I’ve been playing with Modeling with the Pre-release but this is the first time I’ve reached for it since updating to release 5 or now 5.0.3 I haven’t spent much time with it as its new. I’m just clicking on the shortcut icon at the top of the screen and it opens the toolbar in my previous screenshot. There are a lot of new things that aren’t in the alpha version but those two, (esp the cube grid which is awesome) are missing. I’m just wondering if I’m being clueless and missing something or if they were removed from 5.0.3?

I have them in 5.0.3, I think somehow your plugin was not updated.

Did you try verify?

I think you’re on to something. The Plugin is still showing as the Bata of the Modeling tools. In Library it says all my plugins are up to date but I’m verifying now.

Nope. Verify didn’t do it. Is this still supposed to be a Bata version? How do you update a plugin?

I think there’s something deeper going on.

Look at my plugin def

Notice how the layout is different?

What do you get from Help → About Unreal editor?

Well that’s bizarre. I’m working on four projects simultaneously and somehow this one is a 5EA. I don’t know how that happened or how I didn’t notice that.
Thanks for all your help and patience.

Thanks for this discussion, it helped me with a similar problem: I was following a tutorial that got to a part discussing modeling mode: Upgrading your UE4 Project to UE5 | Feature Highlight | State of Unreal 2022 - YouTube …Problem was I had no modeling mode. It went from Mesh Paint to Fracture, with Fracture being Shift + 5. Your mention of plugins above led me to the solution which was to activate the Modeling plugin, which was deactivated upon installation of Unreal 5, presumably because the plugin is in Beta.
