Ctrl+z duplicates components that can't be deleted

Hello everyone I noticed that a few times when I delete a camera or some other component in my character components, and I undo, it will undo correctly, but will also add another capsule component, as if it thought that I deleted it, and capsule components cannot be deleted, so here I am with multiple of the same un-deleteable component.

Thank you for reporting that ctrl+z duplicates components that can’t be deleted in UE4 Version 4.7. I have tested this in 4.7.6 in the viewport as well as a blueprint and I was unable to replicate this. I went to Version 4.8.0 and tried to replicate it the same way and was unable to.

Where exactly are you adding the camera, in a blueprint? Please provide your full reproduction steps, and also see if you’re able to replicate this in 4.8.0.

I was unable to reproduce this problem , but I had it several times when adding, deleting, and then undoing my actions when I originally was troubleshooting my camera. I will post back if I encounter the issue again, until then you can mark this question as resolved if you’d like.

so how do i fix this when it happends then? It just happend to me and now i have 2 capsuleComponents in my Player Character that i cant remove?


Could you please provide me with the exact reproduction steps that you’re experiencing this issue with? Which version of the engine are you in? Does this happen on any project, or a specific one?
