For some reason, CTRL+S crashed my game… Any suggestions on how to fix or…?
Hi TechGaming,
What version of the editor are you using? Additionally is this crash in editor or in a packaged game? If in editor, are you in Play in Editor or does it crash while editing the project? Can you post your logs here so I can take a look? These can be found in the filepath \Unreal Projects\PROJECTNAME\saved\logs. Thank you!
Hi TechGaming,
We have not heard from you in a few days. I am marking this thread as answered for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing this error, please comment with the requested information.
Yes, I have a question. How do I remove the errors on screen in gameplay? Please tell me how to in the files of UDK. I am confused.
Are you using UE4 or UDK? For assistance with UDK you will want to visit the UDK forums atforums.epicgames.com/forum.php
I am using UDK. What’s EU4?? I thought it was UDK 4. Hm.
UDK is the free version of Unreal Engine 3. Unreal Engine 4 is the most recent engine and recently went free. It is well worth a look! Check out unrealengine.com and see if the engine is right for you!
Thanks, but wait. I went to unrealengine.com a while back to download, and clicked “Get UDK (February 2015 UDK).” Is that the latest version of UDK 4? Or 3?
Hi TechGaming,
That is UDK, which is the free version of UE3. The version you would see currently on UE4 is 4.7.2 and you would have downloaded the epic games launcher.
Help me!
Tryin’ to install EU4. Guess what? Exe comes up with:
“This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor.”
So, I am using a 32 bit Laptop.
Unfortunately Unreal Engine 4 will not run on a 32 bit system. You can build games for 32 bit that would run, however the engine itself requires a 64 bit system to operate.
