In day or two i will clean up project pack it and realise it i put some work in this, i neglected whole bunch of projects.
Project is made from my personal work and some of the Epic stuff mainly i reused teleport shaders some of the textures and gibs.
One character model that is free on market place used for first person arms.
It was intended for Unreal Tournament i was working on it and off for months, years but suddenly…
Don’t know why but i had urge just to finish it, the whole map is made from meshes but in 1999 style i remodeled health pack, mega pack, sniper ammo, sniper rifle and translocator to fit the esthetics of UT 99, gameplay video will show it better.
Because i wanted to port it to UE5 and not to be left behind i think it will bring some memories back.
Textures are upscaled and i reused some of the HD textures but made normal map and spec maps to keep that feeling of UT 99 don’t know if made sense.
Tweaked here and there some tiling, and i added basic base for the torches inside the towers, believe or not i did that too in 1999 i think that was first time i used UnrealEd.
And added some geometry basicly boxes on side of tower where are lens flare.
It would be nice to fire up some RTX stuff and tweak the textures and reflections but RX 580 can’t cut it, for now eventually i will upgrade.
Forever thankful for this map and music, just perfect.
