Ubisoft has Dunia Engine ,which is in fact a heavily modified CryEngine, for their needs. And they even released an editor for Far Cry 3 with it. Soo… I really wouldn’t count the possibility completely out.
hhahaha made my day!
Crytek was supposed to be making a CG-based non-linear video editor/production program. This may be licensing for that, or they could be licensing the engine for VR-related video content production… but if that was the case they could have saved a few dollars by going with UE4
Ah you mean CineBox ?
That one here.
Well with that amount of money they probably also licensed that one. Together with CryEngine.
Man I really want some information on what this nonsensical upper management of Crytek is doing. Even Hadron Collider releases more information what they are doing ![]()
Yea, that’s the one. I’m sure with the amount of dollars that Amazon threw into the pool, it’s not all just about product licensing either. More than likely, they are a partner now, which means that they have a seat on the board.

Any time, please let them be one. Please Lord, let it happen ! ![]()
Cry Engine is a fast 3D engine, but it is hard to use.
