Yeah, sorry about this. This is super annoying for sure. At the moment while we’re in Alpha we’re basically at the stage of ‘making sure we expose the right stuff’ and might need to occasionally break APIs like this. Our intention is to keep this to a minimum, but if we need to do it, we need to do it before we go fully public.
Once we’re public you can expect this kind of thing to be EXTREMELY rare. Our goal once public with Verse is to commit as fully to each API as humanly possible (which is one reason we’re starting with a small API surface to ensure it’s right).
I know that’s not much comfort right now, but the bar for doing this again in a few months is going to be extremely high and we’ll try to make it a softer landing. Thanks for bearing with us and helping us square everything away though.
