Critical DevOPS flaw in UEFN

When a new Fortnite version comes out, it forces you to update with no way to revert to previous versions. When you are developing games in Unreal being able to control what version of the engine your code and assets are created for is 100% needed. I understand Fortnite as a game is a platform which must update frequently, however, I see no reason I shouldn’t be able to open my project in previous versions of the editor for at least the purpose of debugging issues in new versions and extracting assets from projects which have had weeks of work put into them and now become unopenable thanks to a forced update.

I’m just one person, but if I’d had a team working on this work 2 weeks instead… I can’t really say it’s viable.
