The zoom out to see the shadows standing up is just plain terrifying. Is there a story behind this at all? Like what these creatures are?

Thanks!

Thanks for your nice comment. im assuming my subconscious was thinking about the old myth of people living the exact opposite of our life underground or somehow reverse at that time they were thinking about this concept. maybe some people call that the underworld. the breathing sounds kinda shows the camera coming from a human perspective so its unknown. He is alone and he is not familiar to what he sees. if you’ve heard in Japan’s culture water is a fatal thing because there has always been so many of it causing trouble and destroying houses. Im from IRAN overall a dry location so it is the exact opposite. So to me water is more like sign of life positive! it really depends on the audience perspective which I admire about work of art. It is what it is more close to the audience sees it not what i exactly want it to be. to me fear of unknown was more the subject than the fear of something scary. fear of what you cannot control. fear of a society and its leader all raising up to a make a different world. the red color indicate the changes it starts by raising up together

Love the depth in that explanation  Thanks for giving a bit more to the story!

This to me sounds like a great intro to a game or movie. Being that lost and terrified and having to find a way out. Totally dorking out over it!
