I’m attempting to follow the “modify and run your first verse program in UEFN” and I’m at the first part where you create your first Verse Device. Then you need to go into the CreativeDevices folder to find the verse file and drag it into the level. Except the folder is not present and even if I go at the root and search for the file, it’s not finding it anywhere. I also can’t drag it directly into the level from the Verse Outliner. What do I need to do there?
Hmm, between steps 6 and 7 I don’t see it telling you go compile the verse code. I don’t have UEFN open at the moment, but I think it’s under the main Verse menu.
The CreativeDevices Folder is for a while now no longer the place where verse devices get placed, instead they get placed in the root of the content browser, or whichever folder the verse script itself is at.
Check on your VSCode that the code is able to be build succesfully, and if it still doesn’t show up let me know.
Ah yes. That was the issue I guess. Needed to open the verse file in vscode for it to show in the content browser. I guess the tutorial is outdated. Thanks!
