When importing static meshes into your level from UEFN, it is not possible/unclear if there is a way to select and move those assets using the Creative phone in Creative edit.
If you drag and drop a StaticMesh into the level it is placed as a FortSMActor (instead of a FN ‘Prop’). Currently we don’t support selection and manipulation of FortSMActors - but it is something that is being discussed.
If you make your StaticMesh into a full Prop, you can manipulate it in Creative Edit. The process is pretty complex at the moment though, but covered in the docs here:

Correct me if I am wrong, but Dom was referring to the prop being selected with the phone in Creative Edit, moved, rotated, scaled. The doc example above is so you can pickaxe it and to grant the right materials (if not, I d like to know too). I filed a ticket about it too.
