Creative 1.0 Bugs

So, genuine question. Does Epic just not care about Creative 1.0 anymore?

  1. Render Distance bug in non-XL maps: despawning/derendering props, nature, devices, and flooring/walls/builds outside of a certain radius.
  2. Grid snap bug: when cutting billboards with text (havent tested without text) or other devices from one spot to re-place them in another spot, the cut object will snap back to its original place as if you never cut it to begin with. The same thing happens for floor tiles or walls/corners/roofs, except with the tile pieces even if you try and copy a DIFFERENT piece, it will snap to a random point on the map. Trying to reselect/cut/copy the same piece or a different piece results in it snapping to the same glitched spot, and requires a full restart of the game to work properly.
  3. Audio Device bugs for collab maps (star wars in particular): Will sometimes play audio in edit mode. Yes I double checked settings. The only audio device that I could successfully make work is the “Cantina Band” Audio Device.
  4. Phase bug: Phase will sometimes not work when going through props and builds when Phase while flying is turned on.
  5. Some collab templates not showing up/locked out of collab templates: This bug is a bit more rare, but when you go to the island panel in the creative hub, you will sometimes only see 2 or three collab template tabs on the sidebar. You have to exit fortnite, reload creative, and then maybe MAYBE you will get access to those collab templates.

All of these bugs getting fixed would help TREMENDOUSLY with Creative 1.0 creators being able to make beautiful maps efficiently, without the headaches of not being able to see how objects interact with the world we’re building, or having to accidentally lose progress because our world is bugged so bad that we are forced to restart the software.

My other question is, if these havent been fixed since mid/late 2025, is Epic realistically ever going to fix this, or are we stuck with a half-baked broken game mode?
