What is the most efficient way of doing it? This is what a house in my level looks like right now:
-What kind of roof do you need?
-do you use bsp or meshes?
What 3d modeling software do you use? I can help you for 3ds …
you could do something really quick like this

Holy **** that’s genius! Thanks.
P.S. Errvald, thanks for the offer! However I think I’ll use the method in the youtube video
I have a problem, the scale tool is stuck in this direction
How do I change it to the default position?
that little world icon at the top of the viewport. ps rewatch that video in my first post I edited it to get you a little further
Yeah I know about that button but clicking it doesn’t do anything
Not to derail the current conversation going on here, just chuck my two cents in.
For any residential models I use Revit, adding a roof and ceiling is as simple as a few clicks -
and can be exported as FBX into Unreal Engine.
But yeah the program can be $$, there may be a demo out if you want to have a look.
over and out
got me stumped, I cant replicate that
Valachio. Save yourself some trouble. Download blender and model your house in that instead.
BSP’s should only ever be used for blocking out levels. And volumes ofourse.
Unfortunately that’s not an option for me
I seriously can’t figure it out. Why is your scale tool based on world and mine based on local?
