Creating pawn after initial spawn causes sliding?

I’ve redone my respawn and death blueprint in a bunch of different ways, I’ve destroyed the pawn and created a new one, I’ve made it invisible and just teleported it back to stage. No matter what as soon as you respawn you can jump and if you let him land without any input he slides. If however I click play while in the player blueprint it doesn’t happen but if i run the game from any other blueprint or stage it happens.

Heres whats happening, it works fine on initial spawn you can jump and continue walking when landing, but if you respawn you slide instead of continuing walking and it doesn’t require directional input to slide. If the collision isn’t level like this map then it will slide in the direction going downwards and stop when going the other way as seen in the gif.
