I am new to Unreal Engine, coming across from Unity.
I have seen this question answered before regarding translucency issues but I have been struggling to find a solution for this as most seem to recommend multiple materials.
I have a few objects in my scene which fade from solid to transparent (glass and plastic objects) I have tried exporting an Opacity Map from substance which is in greyscale for the alpha, but always seem to have the Transclucency Back facing issue.
What is the best way to fix this material / rendering issue?
Not that unfortunately, thanks for the reply though. I think it’s due to a material issue with translucency if I’m not wrong from my research. It happens when any translucent object overlays itself. I know this can be fixed by using two different materials on an object, one for glass and one for object. But I just wanted to know if there was a solution for a solid to transparent glass object like this candle, or if I needed to recreate the UV and polygons to anticipate this situation in the future?
