Creating Matellic Material Instances

I’m new to creating Materials, and I found this guide (Phsyicall Based Materials…) as I’m wanting to create some gold bars. I know that I’m going to want to create other metals as well, so I made a default Material:

And I created several Material Instances. However, it appears that all of them, except my Gold one appear Silver. Even the Cobolt (which I always thought was blue) looks silver.

What did I do wrong?

Metals with 0 roughness are essentially tinted mirrors and it’s hard to tell much of a difference unless they are next to each other. The HDRI can have a huge effect on the look.

Try making a test scene with all the metals and using multiple roughness values.
