Creating Input triggers for animations

Hello people i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea about how to set up inputs to trigger animations. Am looking more for like fighting game style inputs and how to make them, examples being like having to go from down-forward then hit a button to do a specific animation. Does anyone know how to set this up i’m pretty sure its possible.

Input triggers for animation

Set your inputs in project settings
In the player character blueprint set the conditions for each state of the character ie high punch, low punch etc.
Create a state machine in an animation blueprint to blend the animations.

video didnt do much but thanks tho, am going to see how well the inputs in project setting works but will require experimentation. I was trying to do the required inputs of movign from down to forward inorder to do like special attacks
