It’s not possible to change/instance the FN materials. Or change what materials are applied to these signs.
But I was able to create a ‘rectangle’ with the Modeling Tools and embed it into the back of the sign. (although, it may be a better idea to place it covering the front of the sign to help avoid any emissive lighting coming from the image)
Also, I’m surprised to see how you can dynamically change the size of those ‘Asteria SignFrame’ assets! - Change the XYZ for ‘Top Left’ and ‘Bottom Right’ in the details panel to see what I’m talking about.
thank you - that is interesting - I might try making a material with a video loop in it,
I suppose I could try to apply some sorta CRT filter in AE/Premiere at that stage (although obviously such big patterns notoriously fall apart under MPEG compression)
