Creating control points in point cloud

Hi, 

 

I am trying to create a mesh from photogrammetry and point clouds. I created a control point and placed it in the 2D image, but when I try to put the same control point in the point cloud, it is not showing. 

The issue I am having is- 

  1. I cannot see the 2D image of point cloud at all. 

  2. I can see the 3D but I am unable to put a control point in the point cloud (in 3D view)

Any suggestions or work around will be much appreciated. Thank you.

we are very sorry for reaching out late to you.
First off, point cloud is not viewable in 2D.
To put a control point on a point cloud in 3D make sure you use the Control Points button in the Alignment tab. 
Once enabled you can point your cursor on top of the point cloud and by left click you can assign the control point there.
