Creating contrails and edit them using Blueprints

Hi there!

I’m desperatly trying to create nice contrail effect for my plane game. I aim to control the density with a speed variable inside my blueprint. However, I already fail with the contrail itself: I use a ribbon patricle effect, but no matter what I do, when I apply it to my plane and fly through my level, the contrail gets blurry when I fly a curve. Also, I wasn’t able to control it with blueprints. This for example wasn’t working for me:

Is there an easier way to create contrails?
