i am trying to create a 3d bullet hell game in unreal, with particles similar to the ones displayed in this video.
i’ve played with unreal’s particle emitters for a few days now, and visually, they accomplish exactly what i’d want in terms of creating these patterns. for my next step, i’m wondering what ways i can go about having these generated particles damage my player upon being hit by them.
i am a novice with this engine, so any help in the right direction would be appreciated! i’m using the blueprints forum in assumption that this is achievable through them, so sorry if this is the wrong section.
