Creating a map together

Not sure if this has been up already but I can´t find it.

A friend and I want to make a map together for ARK.
my question is, can I make a part of the map on my computer, like a complete mountain with everything on it, trees, metalnodes, etc. and then somehow transfer it onto his map, so we can make diffrent parts on diffrent computers, and just put em together on a map. so we can work on it faster ?
