Creating a foliage spring movement based on player speed

Hello gentlemans, I have a foliage system that interact with player location and bend away when player approachs. But the “bend movement” is very linear so I need to create a “response” reaction that create a spring movement based on player speed(just like physics collision do) so it can look more natural. Should be great if it can be done inside the material. Any ideas?
