Creating a companion AI using a recorded sequence or Ai Node?


I just started to make a companion AI for a VR flight game. I was wondering if i should use a precise animation blend system using a recorded sequence or AI blueprint node? Using a recorded animation would give us a nice quality for animation but my only issue is that i don’t know how to make the recorded sequence companion going slower or faster depending of our player speed(proximity to the AI) without affecting the speed of the entire scene. Is there a way to do it with a recorded sequence or should i just do a AI blueprint?



I have found how to make my recorded sequence companion go slower or faster depending of my player proximity with “Get Play Rate”, let me know if this works for you.
