Lately, several creators have been trying to make content that closely resembles adult websites. However, this content is marked as 12+, which I find highly inappropriate. There is a clear intent to lure curious users especially children into these maps. I believe this kind of behavior should be addressed immediately, and the creators involved should be penalized.
Hi Lorenzo,
I agree that this is highly distasteful, but I donât think this sort of âcopy-cat behaviorâ is explicitly disallowed anywhere in the rules.
âMarketing content you use to promote your island should also be appropriate for the age ratingâ in rule 3.2.1 seems relevant, I guess the important philosophical question is whether or not certain arrangments of shapes colors and fonts can be considered inappropriate.
In a perfect world 12 year olds will not recognize these logos.
Iâd suggest reporting these islands, if there are many other people who are also compelled to submit reports, I imagine the odds of this getting âcleaned upâ will be higher.
Hi!
I would just like to point out that we donât live in a perfect world unfortunatly. kids these days know exactly what these logos represent. I was playing with a friend whoâs little brother claimed to know exactly what the style of the âHotter prop huntâ was referencing. His little brother sounds to be around 9 - 13 years old.
Exactly, we donât live in an ideal world. My 14 year-old brother also knows exactly what those logos mean, and now he thinks thereâs adult content in Fortnite. On top of that, this map received a massive boost, which encouraged other creators to make similar content. These creators deserve to be demonetized or banned from the platform. How do parents feel when they see their young child scrolling through Discovery and coming across images that look just like something from adult websites?
I donât know bro, as for me, the problem with AI maps is more widespread, they just make 10+ maps on one basis and this is supposedly original content worthy of anyoneâs attention?
Really disgusting that this is still active.
The Prop hunt category in general is a heavily manipulated tab and it has infected âgreat with friendsâ as well, the entire prop hunt tag is a cornered market with 30+ island creator accounts between maybe 6 people at most.
There are far too many people to blame for this as the majority of Island Creators are using this âmetaâ and making multiple accounts to spam. Just look at any new creator on fortnite gg, they are just alt accounts.. There are no new creators here, just more and more alt accounts.
The moment that stops is the moment this crap stops because accountability and integrity will reign again.
They are faking an update and then reverting to avoid meek enforcement
If i can see this with my resources, fncreate can see it very! clearly!
These people thrive in this sort of enforcement.. You have to hit them where it counts or this will never end. Hire some people who have actually studied enforcement, Evil donât sleep.
How many rules does this break? Evasion? Keep it Real? How many? A lot.
