I used to make Destructible Meshes all the time. It was easy… have or create a static mesh and then right click it and select Create Destructible Mesh. It seems like whenever I highlight and right-click any static meshes (I am positive they are) the Create Destructible Mesh option is missing.
Any ideas? This is truly confusing.
Thank you
Is there a better and more CPU efficient Destructible Mesh replacement option?
BTW, Thank you
Destructible Meshes have recently been moved to a plugin that is off by default. The reason is that most projects do not need them, and leaving it off will speed up engine startup times. Enable it in the Plugin Manager under the Physics category.

I don’t know of any others, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t out there. This is the official one that was previously built into Unreal though. It’s just moved to a plugin.
THANK YOU. That solves at least one of my 500 problems
