Create Animation with an actor being "fixed"?

Hello Community :grinning:

I’m currently creating my own Battle Royale - FPS. I’m very new to Unreal Engine, but I really love it!!! :heart_eyes: I have already created a decent Animation-BP “System” with the Animation Starter Pack and free Weapon models online. The work needed a decent amount of precision and much time because the end of the weapon model wouldn’t stick with the other hand. To save time and get the best results, I’ve wondered if there is a way to maybe attach a model on both ends to the Actor, so the animation wouldn’t affect the attached Mesh. I can’t explain it well, so I’ve made a picture to show what I mean:

In the yellow circle is the socket (on my character). I had to rotate the hand a little for adjustment, but the blue circle was more difficult. Is there a way to merge both circles within the separate bones or sockets, and is it possible to make the weapon not moveable while adjusting the surrounding?

Hey there @ZenOh! Sounds like you’re trying to create two handed IKs for the gun handling. I’ve got a couple of resources for that! The first one is documentation, the next two are just 2 different video tutorials to accomplish the same thing.
