Crashes every version even after formatting the pc

please, I’ve been trying to fix this for 4 days and I’m really tired. Unreal Engine crashes every time I open it (I haven’t started any project yet), I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but it happened after the update to 5.5, and I don’t know if it’s always a coincidence After Effects didn’t work anymore either.
The error is this:

The GPU has crashed or the D3D device has been removed.

Check the log for GPU status information.

I tried everything:
-add the value for TrdDelay following the guide on the site
-update all the drivers
-downgrade the graphics card drivers
-add -dx11 on the link (but the error changed to: UnrealEditor_D3D11RHI)
-restore the graphics card settings
-format the pc

I don’t use afterburn or similar. Unreal Engine is the first program I install and it doesn’t work anyway, after effects works

I use a hp victus laptop with i7-13700h and rtx 4060 8gb

can someone help me please?

Does it happen fast (right when Unreal is started) or after some time?

I bought really nice tablet (for presentation of what i did in unreal, so i do not need to share github projects), however this new powerful GAMING tablet OVERHEATS after 20-30min in most games and with unreal just 2-5 min.

So maybe your laptop overheats? It also can have something already damaged from overheating. That is price for unrealistically thin laptops, you can miniaturize silicon, but that does not work with thermals.

Try limiting FPS it sometimes help with stability for unreal.

If it works in 5.4 just downgrade, 5.5 (preview) made my powerful (few years back) Desktop PC choke. Now it is fine.

The crash happens with every version of Unreal Engine after starting it via the Epic Games launcher (even without a launcher). The strange thing is that until a few months ago it worked without problems then I didn’t open it again until the update came out and, being curious, I wanted to download it to start a project.
