Crashed when Import Fbx with multi-material



Crashed only when import first Fbx file has multi-material object . ---->crash!
When import a fbx without multi-material object first, then import other fbx with multi-material , ------>work!

Could you send me an fbx that is causing this crash? I’m having trouble reproducing it in 4.15.

Hi, Williams , This fbx , a box with a multi-material(a sub-material has a map file) . if fbx that has multi-material without map is not causing crash.

Can you show me a screenshot of your import settings like below? It appears to import as expected for me.

I am really looking for the Mesh and Material sections of the import settings.

1,create an empty project.
2,import it
3,boom! crashed!

only when first imported fbx with multi-material and map, would cause crash. if import other ,does not case crash.

Hmm, I’m still not getting the crash with 4.15 source and binary builds with your settings. Can you send me your dxdiag info? I’d like to see if this is a compat issue.

I noticed from your error message that you’re using a source build of the engine. Have you made any changes to the engine code that could affect fbx imports?

I use the version installed by launcher.
I will reinstall it to test the problem still happped

Did reinstalling help at all? I can’t really think of any other way to make this crash.
